pre-operations checklist (Read Only) pre-operations checklist (Read Only)

Hi,

I was wondering if someone would be able to provide me with a pre-operations check list for mobile cranes as well as for overhead cranes.

We are promoting a more comprehensive inspection and training process for our Operators and would certainly appreciate any information there might be with regard to improving our inspection process.

I'm also wondering how many organizations are tracking the actual seat time for their Operators in order to validate on going qualification requirements?

Thanks, for your help

Best Practice Consultant Best Practice Consultant

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brian Murray and I am a Best Practice Consultant for local industry.

I am currently assisting a small crane manufacturer in Donegal, Ireland to set up a traceability system for crane components for internal quality control and customer traceability purposes. Ideally Supplier batch, date and operator of componants would be traceable.

Rather than reinvent the wheel I was wondering if the ACRP with it's resources could direct me to a source of information that would be considered by you to be the best practice in this area since your members are the crane manufactures clients!

Because the client is based in Ireland, he is not a member of the ACRP but he is a kindred spirit in the Crane Industry 'across the pond'.

I look forward to your consideration.

My regards

Brian Murray
